The 101 on Apple Cider Vinegar and it’s Beauty Benefits

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)  is one of the many raw and natural beauty agents that can be used to purify and cleanse our most sensitive areas. This homemade beauty staple is cost efficient, yet proven to get the job done and for most of us it’s available in our kitchens! For all of my DIY Beauty Lovers, Apple Cider Vinegar is a go to item from everything ranging from toners to foot soaks.

Facial Toner

1 Part ACV

2 Parts Water

5-6 Drops of Essential Oils
Is your face in need of a natural glow? Well Apple Cider Vinegar will create that glow for you! After a cleansing, apply the toner. The acidity of the vinegar will provide a smooth layer, locking in all moisture to eliminate dry dull skin. It tightens pores and leaves behind properties that will prevent future breakouts. The added essential oil will give the toner fragrance.

Hair Rinse

2 parts ACV

2 parts Water
Apple Cider Vinegar can be used to eliminate dry scalp, dandruff and itchiness. For all my ladies that love weave, this was created for us! This solution will also help treat hair loss, detangles and remove product build up. The ACV balances the pH Balance of your scalp with all of its anti-fungal and antibacterial fighting agents. Leave the rinse on for 15 minutes then wash out, ITCH FREE!

Acne Fighter

The antiseptic and antibacterial agents in Apple Cider Vinegar will keep your pores clean from bacteria, dust and oils. This will clean your skin to prevent the presence of any unwanted acne. Acne is prone to your body as a whole, not just your face, so by using ACV as a added mist to your everyday shower routine, you can eliminate acne as a whole. Also, it can be used pure as a spot treatment to kill zits.

Foot Soak

Apple Cider Vinegar can be added to any foot bath to eliminate foot odor and remove calluses. Also, it is known to be a muscle soother for aches and pains.

Deodorant Primer

This is a new one for me; however I suffer from sensitive underarms. Deodorants are sometimes so harsh that they eat away at the sensitive skin, leaving the area raw and red. Before applying deodorant, take a cotton ball and disinfect the area. Wait for about 15, and then apply your product of choice.

The raw apple cider vinegar of my choice can be purchased here. It is raw, unfiltered and organic.
